Firm Successfully Defeats Motion to Dismiss Case for Lack of Personal Jurisdiction

Civil Action N. 08-22CV186 (Massachusetts Trial Court, District Court Department)
The Firm was successful in defeating a motion by the defendant to dismiss the case for lack of personal jurisdiction in an action alleging that the defendant, a Maine resident, injured his former employer, a Massachusetts corporation, by failing to repay a personal loan, obtaining expense reimbursements based on fictitious expense reports, and refusing to return company property.

Dolan v. SunGard Securities Finance, LLC., and Global Compliance Services, Inc.Civil Action N. 06-cv-43-JD
(United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire).
The Firm represented both SunGard Securities Finance, LLC and Global Compliance Services, Inc. in successfully obtaining summary judgment and dismissal of all 19 counts of the Plaintiff's Complaint. The Court issued three separate orders ruling in Defendants’ favor over the past several months, including the final decision in late April.
