Shannon M. Lynch is a graduate of Boston College Law School. She received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in the Program of Liberal Studies from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to joining the Firm, Shannon was an associate with Morrison Mahoney LLP in Boston, where her practice focused on the defense of employment and business litigation matters.

Shannon has extensive experience defending employers before state and federal courts and agencies in cases involving employment-related and commercial disputes. She has also represented employers in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution processes, and she has counseled management regarding a broad range of employment practices, such as hiring, sexual harassment policies, claim investigations, compensation and termination.

In 2008, Shannon was recognized in Boston magazine and Massachusetts Super Lawyers 2008 as a Rising Star in the area of Labor and Employment Law for the second consecutive year.

Shannon is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Shannon is a member of the American Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.

Shannon is also a graduate of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination ("MCAD") Certified Train-the-Trainer Program for Preventing Harassment in the Workplace and, as a result, she is on the MCAD-approved list for remediation.
