Stephen T. Melnick received his law degree from Boston College Law School, cum laude, and his undergraduate degree from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, with honors. Prior to joining the Firm, Steve was an associate with Littler Mendelson, P.C. in Boston, Massachusetts, where his practice focused on labor and employment litigation, counseling and other labor and employment matters.
Steve has extensive experience handling all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including discrimination, retaliation and harassment suits, wage and hour cases, wrongful termination claims, employment-related common law claims, arbitrations, and unfair labor practice charges. Steve has also counseled clients on a local, regional and national level regarding state and federal employment law compliance, wage and hour issues, employee investigations, discipline actions and terminations.
Steve is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Rhode Island, and is admitted to the United States District Courts for the District of Massachusetts and the District of Rhode Island.
