David is a graduate of Cornell Law School. He received his undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Biomedical Ethics from Brown University. Prior to joining the firm, David led his own practice with a focus on high technology, health care, and hospitality industries with a strong presence in both the Boston metro and Cape and Islands regions. He was also an Associate with Palmer & Dodge's Immigration Practice Group, representing numerous mid-sized to Fortune 500 companies before founding his own firm.
David represents non-profit, government and academic institutions and employers of all varieties with respect to securing non-immigrant and immigrant petitions. David began his immigration legal career as an Assistant District Counsel & Special United States Attorney for the United States Immigration & Naturalization Service in Boston, Massachusetts. He represented the United States Government in removal and deportation hearings, and prepared appellate briefs for filing with the Board of Immigration Appeals and United States District Court. He also litigated and negotiated civil employer sanctions cases. David began his legal career as a Lieutenant and Judge Advocate for the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps in Newport, Rhode Island. As a military attorney, he prosecuted misdemeanor and felony offenses and provided advice to regional U.S. Navy commands. He also served as Defense Counsel, providing Navy, Marine and Coast Guard service members with legal representation before administrative board hearings and courts-martial. During that time, David also provided general legal services to all active duty service members and their families, reservists and retirees.
David is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, as well as the United States District Court for Massachusetts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Brown Club of Cape Cod and the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce.
