Chuck McCannon is the Chief Operating Officer of Schwartz Hannum PC. He received his undergraduate degree from Providence College, summa cum laude, in 1969, and received his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 1974.

Chuck joins SHPC after 30 years spent developing his skills as a multi-dimensional legal and business professional. He has extensive experience leading professional service firms in their strategic planning, practice management and attorney career development. Chuck takes great pride in having mentored many attorneys during his career who have gone on to establish themselves as successful practitioners.

Chuck’s law firm experience includes having founded and managed a full-service suburban Boston law firm where his skills and expertise garnered recognition among local business leaders and attorneys. He also founded a regional real estate investment and management company and served as its President and CEO for 15 years.

Most recently Chuck served as Executive Director for the Boston law firm of Hanify & King where he had full-charge responsibility for the firm’s corporate governance, development of its business strategies and career planning initiatives as its first chief operating officer.

Chuck has been involved on several levels with non-profit and philanthropic endeavors over the course of his professional career.
