Preparing For Paid Family Medical Leave To Launch In Massachusetts: An Extended Q&A With The Attorneys

On December 2, 2020 – in the midst of a global pandemic – the Massachusetts Department of Paid Family Medical Leave will begin accepting applications for paid leaves of absence that can begin as early as January 1, 2021. As 2021 nears, employers should consider a number of preparation steps and understand the ways this paid leave program may impact their business in the very near future.

In this interactive webinar, experienced employment counsel will outline the paid leave benefits and employer obligations under the Paid Family Medical Leave law, summarize the most recent guidance from the Department of Paid Family Medical Leave, and provide practical steps for employers to prepare.
